Nancy Drew Scuba book purse

Nancy Drew scuba book purse - the perfect gift for diehard Nancy Drew fans! This book purse is an upcycled, bespoke creation. The book purse features a  striking red purse, with plenty of room to store your cards, coins and cash. It also has a slip pocket, perfect for storing receipts or small documents.
 
The beautiful feature of this purse is the combination - Nancy is scuba diving on the front cover, and inside the purse there are lots of tiny white bubbles - as if they come from Nancy herself! The purse features an original Nancy Drew soft cover that has been lined with a black ribbon and fused with a vintage hardcover - making this creation entirely original and unique. Consistent with the books vintage age, there are some minor discolouration spots on the edging - but this will not detract from the book purse's beautiful, retro-looking aesthetic.
 
The book purse also features a 90cm long shoulder chain, which is black in colour. This can easily be detached so you can mix up your look and carry as a purse with you instead. So versatile!

To preserve the life of your unique book clutch, ensure that you avoid any water, spills or damp surfaces. The book cover has been laminated – but treat your clutch in the same way that you would a beloved and treasured book.

Your book clutch has been handmade with love from my studio on the Central Coast of NSW. All books are sourced from second hand stores and pre-loved shops – so no new or unread books are damaged in the process. Yay to that! Clutches (unless specified in the description above) are also sourced from pre-loved stores and upcycled – part of the art of making a book clutch involves lovingly selecting clutches and purses that match the colour, theme and dimensions of the book. Please note: The upcycled purses/clutches and books may have minor flaws or imperfections consistent with their age, but this will not detract from their unique and beautiful, handmade look.
 
Manuscripts of books are reused for art projects, book sculptures and scrap booking, so nothing goes to waste. My business philosophy is to recycle and reuse – and to ultimately transform unloved books into wearable pieces of art for book fans to enjoy.
