    You will certainly turn heads with fabulously vintage book clutch, featuring an original hardcover of one of the world's most infamous Queen's, Marie Antoinette. The book cover has been matched with a vintage, fabric clutch, seamlessly matching the flowers on the book cover. You will turn heads with this stunning book clutch - which is infinitely better than losing your head over it. ;)
     
    The clutch features a dark brown carry strap/handle. It has silver toned hardware and clasp in vintage condition ( please see note below). This clutch will fit a small phone, coin purse and your cards/cash.

    Please note:  This is part of my eco-friendly, upcycled range, where I match a preloved book with a recycled clutch. The book cover has minor, visible signs of wear and tear on the spine and on the back of the book cover ( please see last two photos). The floral clutch is preloved and in vintage condition -- and consistent with its age, it has some discolouration on the inner lining and also some minor rust-spotting and discolouration on the silver handle and clasp. The carry strap is in excellent condition for its age. These minor age spots add character to its fabulously unique and vintage look. 
     
    Care and Instructions:To preserve the life of your unique book clutch, ensure that you avoid any water, spills or damp surfaces. The book cover has been laminated – but treat your clutch in the same way that you would a beloved and treasured book.
     
    About Bookanook Studio:Your book clutch has been handmade with love from my studio on the Central Coast of NSW. All books are sourced from second hand stores and pre-loved shops – so no new or unread books are damaged in the process. Yay to that! Clutches (unless specified in the description above) are also sourced from pre-loved stores and upcycled – part of the art of making a book clutch involves lovingly selecting clutches and purses that match the colour, theme and dimensions of the book. Please note: The upcycled purses/clutches and books may have minor flaws or imperfections consistent with their age, but this will not detract from their unique and beautiful, handmade look.
     
    Manuscripts of books are reused for art projects, book sculptures and scrap booking, so nothing goes to waste. My business philosophy is to recycle and reuse – and to ultimately transform unloved books into wearable pieces of art for book fans to enjoy. I hope you enjoy your book clutch and get as much satisfaction from showing it off as I do making them.

    • SHIPPING

      Processing times for your order are 1-3 business days. If you have selected Express Post delivery, expect to receive your order the next day (although sometimes it can take 2-3 days, according to Australia Post). I recently bought gifts online and selected Express Post with Australia Mail – the parcel came three days later – so allow for this when placing your order.

      If you have selected Standard Post, please allow at least 5-7 business days for delivery. These times may be much longer during the Christmas period, so please allow enough time for your parcel to arrive. I cannot be held responsible for any delays in the parcel arriving – but will endeavour to have your parcel processed and sent as soon as I can. If you need an order urgently shipped as a gift, choose the Express Post delivery option. You will receive a tracking number when your order is shipped, and be notified via email that your parcel is on its merry way. 😊

      I am currently not shipping overseas, but if you are an overseas buyer, please contact me and I can arrange a shipping quote for you.

    • REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

      Please ensure you choose your book clutch wisely, as I do not accept refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind. Feel free to send me a message if you have any queries before you make your purchase.

      If the item has a major fault, I will happily offer you an exchange or refund the book clutch price. For an exchange/refund in this instance, please notify me within 7 days of delivery and return the item within 14 days of delivery so I can promptly send back to you and have the matter rectified. Please note: You will be able to exchange your item with the available stock I have listed in my store.

      Conditions of return: Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
